Hi, and welcome to the first blog post of The Elevated Events! In this blog, I will be sharing wedding goodness, planning tips, wedding inspiration, vendor spotlights, behind-the-scenes posts, and a bit of wellness thrown into the mix (because as much as wedding planning is fun, there is still hard work involved and attending to our mental, physical and emotional wellbeing is so important).
First off, I wanted to do a little intro post of sorts! I’m Lisa, the Owner and Lead Planner of The Elevated Events! I’ve been in the events and wedding industry off and on for the last few years, and serendipity led me to create my own wedding and events studio this summer. After my first real wedding production at the end of summer, I decided to go full steam ahead with The Elevated Events, and designed this website that you see today.
Aside from running this business, I’m also a Licensed Esthetician and freelance Project Manager. I’m sort of a work-a-holic, which may or may not be a good thing! I am a big believer in celebrating the big and small moments in life, and almost always have fresh flowers in the house.
In my free time, I love experimenting in the kitchen, getting lost in a book, listening to a podcast, going to the farmer’s market, getting the occasional facial, blowout, or makeover, and living it up with friends and loved ones!
My 12 year old Yorkie Terrier is my first love, and most days, he’s wanting me to get off my computer and play with him 😉
