Abbi + Chris // Fall Wedding

If I had to describe Abbi and Chris’s intimate fall wedding in the Santa Cruz mountains in one word, that word would be: fairytale. (Is that technically two words? Ha!) It was intimate, and had a very laid back but fun vibe to the day, which is very descriptive of the couple. The couple opted for tapas and dancing rather than a seated dinner. They exchanged their vows in front of two tall, sturdy trees overlooking the Santa Cruz mountains.

With so much natural beauty all around (with a CASTLE as their backdrop), it really was a magical day. From the lush and autumnal flower arrangements, to the jewel tones of the bridesmaid dresses, the groomsmen’s dapper attire (love that there were no suits at this wedding!), the hat Chris wore, Abbi’s beautiful vintage-like off the shoulder dress, thoughtful program read like a performance production, old books on the tables, a cellist performing at the ceremony, and a live band… the details were so special.

I’m so grateful I got to be part of this wedding, and I will always remember it for two reasons 1) it was like a fairytale and I got to witness such a beautiful celebration of love, and 2) it was the first wedding I produced and it went so amazingly!
